ReferenceError: Attachment is not defined

Symptoms

In some cases, after performing an update, you may encounter the following error:

Error occured! Please see console window(F12) for more information ReferenceError: Attachment is not defined

Cause

This error occurs because several core components of Translator++ are missing. The issue is usually caused by an incomplete update installation. In most cases, this happens when the user closes or restarts Translator++ before the update process has fully completed.

Solution

Please re‑update your Translator++, and wait 3–5 minutes after the update finishes before closing or restarting the application
